Meet Our Team

Michaeline Cantono, MA CCC-SLP – Founder and Owner
Michaeline holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in accordance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Delaware. Additionally, she holds the K-12 teaching Certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Michaeline is a native Philadelphian and dedicated speech therapist known for her deep-rooted connection to the city and brings a unique blend of expertise and local flavor to her company. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Temple University in 2006. more
Her clinical experiences include treating individuals with expressive, receptive and pragmatic language disorders, phonological disorders, apraxia, speech-sound disorders, stuttering, voice disorders, selective mutism, autism spectrum disorder, and those with exceptional or multiple disabilities. She offers a warm and approachable demeanor, making her clients feel at ease. Her familiarity with the local culture and linguistic nuances allows her to tailor therapy in ways that resonate deeply with her clients.
Whether she’s working with children struggling with articulation or adults seeking to refine their communication skills, her genuine passion for her work shines through, grounded in a profound understanding of both the technical and emotional aspects of speech therapy.
Michaeline has treated individuals in a variety of settings such as public and private schools, early intervention centers, residential facilities, and clients’ homes. She has experience with all ages birth to adults.
Further, she is trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Specializing in low and high tech alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) devices and solutions, Michaeline is an expert in identifying and matching student needs with the appropriate AAC for building functional communication skills.
Michaeline founded Philadelphia’s premier speech therapy provider, MTG Therapy Services Inc. as a seasoned SLP developing one on one relationships with schools and educational facilities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. After almost two decades of experience, MTG Therapy Services has grown into a team of employees and subcontractors, including an operations manager to service additional educational institutions and students. Michaeline has a passion for mentoring and developing speech and language therapists. She actively supervises and supports MTG’s team of therapists, clinical fellows and graduate clinicians. She ensures strong relationships with contracted schools and provides the highest standard of support to add value to the delivery of all services. Her commitment to helping others overcome their challenges reflects the resilience and community spirit emblematic of Philadelphia itself.
Sarah Schultz, MS CCC-SLP – Operations Manager
Sarah is MTG’s operations manager. She holds a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Tennessee State University and boasts five years of clinical experience as a speech and language therapist. Sarah is passionate about treating individuals with autism and those needing AAC devices. As our operations manager, she manages the daily operations at MTG and is available to support all our therapists. She lives in Philadelphia, local to many of our school partnerships.

What is the process for hiring MTG for our school?
The process is straightforward: Contact us via phone or email, discuss your needs during a Zoom meeting, review and sign the contract, and we will recruit a therapist to match your school’s needs.
How long do your contracts run?
MTG can design a contract to fit your school’s needs. We offer yearly contracts to run the course of each school year including ESY, with an option to renew the following school year. We offer on demand contracts if your school needs help with evaluations, compensatory time, or unforeseen needs arise throughout the school year.
