MTG Therapy Services Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist or CF to join our small, tight-knit team by providing education-based therapy services to students at a school in Philadelphia, PA. As the SLP, you will play key roles in assessing, diagnosing, and providing interventions to address speech and language disorders in students, while collaborating with all team members in an interdisciplinary model.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Providing high quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to students’ IEPs
- Conducting assessments, analyzing results, and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, and language.
- Developing treatment plans (IEPs) that are strength-based as well as child and family centered for overall educational improvement.
- Ensuring evaluations, treatment plans and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines.
- Assisting and guiding teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders.
- Consulting with teaching teams to develop and implement curriculum modifications and appropriate classroom strategies such as visual supports, language strips, topics of conversation, AAC and data collection.
- Ensuring students’ skills are generalized across settings by collaborating with teaching teams and related service providers.
- Completing treatment notes and progress reports in a timely manner and according to school policy.
- Maintaining appropriate, confidential, records and provide timely reports.
- Keeping abreast of best practices in speech and language therapy and language development.


Qualifications:
- Have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school of speech-language pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Have a current PA license or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, and knowledge of current SLP best practices
- Be committed to their own learning.
- Have excellent time management skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards.
